看起来其貌不扬的伊武努（田中圭 饰）现今是一名司法书士，作为一名单身爸爸他全力奔走在家庭和职场两端。在家中温柔耐心地照顾正上幼儿园的女儿（岩崎未来 饰），在职场上他凭借自身的学识耐心细致地帮助客户解决各种法律上的问题。职场上有职场上的行事做法和潜规则，大多时候伊武呈现出一副委曲求全、窝囊胆小的面孔，但是很少有人知道伊武的另外一张脸。出身广岛的他当年可是一名好勇斗狠的黑社会，如今虽然披上了法律的外衣，每当遇上正常手段无法解决的棘手事件时，黑社会面孔的伊武努便强势登场，匡扶失落的正义…… 本片根据田岛隆（原作）、高桥昌大（绘画）的漫画原作改编。

晴朗的夏日，柔风微抚，晾在院子里的白色床单随风飘扬，好一派恬静安逸的景象。猫儿小黑站在墙头，不小心被邻居家顽皮的小男孩抓了过来。男孩将小黑扔进红色的小桶，举着小老鼠玩具吓唬小黑。男孩的妹妹见哥哥自得其乐，也走过来一起进行着恶劣的游戏。小黑的小主人四处寻不到宠物，她焦急万分，声声呼唤，这是便见到小黑从旁边的院子里夺路逃来，而男孩还紧随其后。小主人的声音吓倒男孩，他匆匆跑回自家，却遗落了玩具老鼠。 不久，天空掉下雨滴，瓢泼大雨倾盆而下，小黑则走出猫洞，轻轻将雨水中的玩具老鼠衔在口中……

Amitabha Roy (Soumitra Chatterjee), a sriptwriter has a breakdown near a tea-estate and he is offered a place to stay by the estate manager (Haradhan Banerjee) at his bungalow. When he reaches, Amitabha finds out that the manager is married to his ex-girlfriend, Karuna (Madhabi Mukherjee). The manager has invited Amitabha to assuage his own boredom # and fails to notice the uneasiness between his wife and the guest. The plot unfolds over a period of approximately one-day when they have dinner, breakfast and go for a picnic # and small gestures rekindle Amitabha's memories. Through a series of flashbacks, he remembers their first meeting, courtship and separation (which was solely because of his lack of courage to make a commitment). Amitabha's current affluence and his suspicion of Karuna's unhappiness leads him to propose to Karuna once again but she is inclined to believe that the time to muster up courage has gone past.

Dean "The Wolverine" Pyles is (Mark Stone), an Ex-Special Forces Soldier that moves back to his hometown, when his past comes back to haunt him over a promise he made to his dad. Severely injuring a boy using the Martial Arts training he had received his whole life, puts Mark, his family, and friends in the path of a group of bullies, that will stop at nothing to get at Mark, even terrorizing the entire town. What is holding Mark to his promise? Will he put together the pieces and STOP THE BULLYING? Or will he let it go and let everyone suffer, including himself, remaining "The Coward".
